1. Getting Started

1.1 Registering Online Store

Account is registered on the main page of the website in the Checkout section. To register an online store you need to select the type of your account, enter an e-mail or mobile phone number and create a password. If you have a promo code, you may enter it at this step.

Please, pay attention: If you didn’t enter promo – code, it is not possible to use it after the registration

A member account will be created in the system. We recommend that you configure your account first, because it will help you carry out the next steps.

Here you can enter your personal data, change the password, check the login statistics. The profile will already contain an e-mail address or your phone number, which you entered during registration.

In our example a phone number is entered for registration. To activate your phone number, you need to confirm it with a one-time sms code.

Then you need to enter your e-mail address and press the Send button. The system will send a letter to your e-mail address.

The information confirmed will be displayed in the settings. The confirmed phone number and e-mail will be your logins. Please, do not share them with unauthorized users!

You can make a step back from your account (please, pay attention to the Back button) and start registration of your store.

Personal and business accounts have different limits and requirements to the data submitted.

Limits for the business account are higher than those set for the personal account. Besides, it requires submitting information on the legal entity during the activation process and signing an agreement with one of the Wallet One service operators. For the personal account it is only required to go through the identification procedure.

When registering a project you will be offered to select a country and a currency. We need this data to understand, which of our future services and solutions you will use in the first place.

1.2 Activating Online Store Account

After the registration of project you will see the main control panel, where the system prompts to you the next step.

Activation is the first step of Wallet One Checkout configuration process, during which an online store owner provides information on the online store, its website, confirms contact details (phone number, e-mail address and website address) and agrees with the rates of Wallet One Checkout system.

1.2.1 Account’s activation. This step is necessary in the case you didn’t fill in profile’s settings and didn’t confirm e-mail/ telephone number

Data that you entered on this stage will be available in the profile and also can be used as data for log in account.

After it you will be redirected to the stage of site’s confirmation. If you already filled the profile’s settings, this process will start for you from this step.

1.2.2 Site’s confirmation. Here you will received instruction that helps you to confirm site in our system and start to work.

Please, pay attention that you will receive the notifications on these e-mail or telephone number, for example about order’s payment. In future these telephone number and e-mail can be changed in «Settings», «Notifications»

After the data has been confirmed, online store account will be activated successfully. Integration process can be started.

1.2.3 Test mode. After the registration online store will be available in test mode.:

Functions of invoice payment are limited off in test mode. Only test methods are switched on and available. You can apply the request for other methods activation while you are on test mode. The activated methods of payment will be available after leaving the test mode:

While invoicing in test mode, you will receive e-mail with sum and other necessary information. Also notification will be available in your personal account. After leaving the test mode, notifications will be send to your customers. Payment by test instrument is performed on the payment page:

Pre-planned reactions are provided for test instrument. The form of payment reception with the help of bank card allows to enter random data of card owner, validity period and cvv code:

The final status depends on model chosen. For example, successful payment reflects as page with all information about invoice that was paid:

After the payment, invoice will change its condition to Paid

But the balance of online store wouldn’t change and this transaction wouldn’t appear at Statement:

After the disconnection of test mode, session will be finished, and it will be necessary to log in again. At the same time, all invoices that are created in test mode, will be hidden:

Please, pay attention: All integration settings will be saved. If you entered test versions to make testing, please, change it to the work ones

1.3 Completing Moderation

Moderation is an internal procedure used to verify information on the online store (business validity, accuracy and completeness of the information provided on the website and personal account), which takes place after activation.

Notice: Even after successful activation an online store may be rejected service, if its activity is in breach of the applicable legislation or Wallet One policy

After moderation online store personal accounts are permitted to accept payments and withdraw funds in accordance with the limits. One shall sign an agreement to withdraw funds for the business account.

1.4 Adding Projects

There is a button in the upper right corner of you personal account. It opens a control menu, which enables you to manage your projects and the main data of your account.

Use the project control menu of your online store to add a new project or switch among the projects to view history, balance or to change projects’ settings.

Notice: each project has its own balance, the balances do not relate to each other

To add a new project (online store website) select the account type (business or personal), then enter the name of the store and select the category. Business accounts have a blue icon and and personal accounts have a green icon. It will help you quickly and easily keep track of the registered projects.

Notice: If an online store operates as a legal entity, an agreement shall be signed. Each project (merchant account) requires a particular agreement.

An online store operating as an undividual needs to go through a full identification process. If all online stores belong to the same owner, identification may be passed only once. If the projects belong to different owners, each project owner shall be identified.

2. Technical Integration

To accept payments automatically, an online store may go through technical integration. Depending on how the store operates, payment acceptance may be configured in several ways. They are arranged in the order of increasing complexity of payment acceptance performed by the online store.

Notice: All test payments will be performed in real time. That is why we recommend you indicate the payment amount in the range from 5 to 10 rubles

2.1 Generating a Link to Order Payment

“To accept payments via Wallet One Checkout you don’t need to know all the subtleties and perform technical integration. If you have few orders, you may send a link to order payment directly to your clients’ e-mails. Use a Create Invoice button in the Invoices section of your personal account to send a link to payment to a client’s e-mail address or generate it on the special page of the site.

2.2 Connecting CMS Module of the Store

A special website section contains a base of payment modules developed for different CMS types with account for the peculiarities of Wallet One payment service. The modules are available for download with a detailed installation manual.

2.3 Integrating through API

“Wallet One Checkout has a simple yet very functional integration protocol, which lets you manage how the payment methods are displayed, set invoice expiry date, switch on/off product delivery and do many other things available in the payment form – all you need to do is follow a special instruction, which can be found on the site of Wallet One Checkout.

3. Tracking Payments

All the invoices created by the online store through Wallet One Checkout are displayed in the Invoices section of the personal account. You may filter them by date, status or search them by order number, amount or invoice description.

3.2 Invoice Status

An invoice may have the following statuses:

  •   Still not paid — the invoice has been generated and awaits payment. The period during which the invoice may be paid may be set by the online store.
  •   Underpaid — the payment amount is unsuffcient to meet the invoice. For example, the invoice has been issued for 100 rubles and the user paid 90 rubles. It may happen when a payment terminal is used, when the user deposits an insufficient amount or does not take into consideration the commission charged by the terminal.
  •   Paid — the payment has been fully completed and credited to the account of the online store.
  •   Overpaid — an extra amount has been credited to the account of the online store. For example, the user paid 100 rubles against a 90-ruble invoice.
  •   Rejected — the buyer has rejected paying the invoice.
  •   Cancelled — the online store has cancelled payment against invoice.
  •   Expired — invoice validity has expired. It shall be issued again, if required.

3.3 Unidentified payments

Overpayment amounts and incomplete amounts against an invoice (in the case of underpayment) are credited to unidentified payments account.

Unidentified payments account is a special account for payment amounts forwarded to an online store, which can not be credited to the primary account.

In the case of underpayment, an online store may accept the forwaded amount as a payment against an invoice and credit it to the primary account by pressing the Consider Paid button or return the funds to the buyer. The refund is performed for each payment separately: use the Refund button in the pop-up menu by mouseover on the invoice payment progress bar.

Notice: If you select Cancel Invoice in the menu, you will be able to return the accepted amount to client’s account in the Wallet One system. You can not accept it as a payment afterwards

In the case of overpay, you can also return the extra amount to the client.

Before the payments are credited to the primary account of the online store, all the unidentified payments are displayed in the currency, in which they have been forwarded to the store, and in the case of a refund, they will be returned in the payment currency. If a client wants a complete refund for a product or a service, you may use a ‘refund a paid invoice’ function.

Notice: the commission charged from these funds when received is not refunded because the service has been rendered by the payment system. The commission is charged for the refund as well

3.4 Refund

In the case when seller can’t perform the paid order for any reasons or client after payment had changed mind, it is possible to use the service of funds refund. To make refund, please, use button “Refund” at the bottom of paid invoice page.

Please, paid attention, that refund is free, but W1 comission that was taken while payment by client can’t be return. Take into consideration this difference while making the refund to client in full volume

4. Funds Withdrawal

Owner of a personal account may withdraw funds to a bank account, card or various payment systems in the Withdrawal section of his personal account. You can set up a scheduled withdrawal in the same section.

For online stores operating under agreement the funds are withdrawn to a settlement account according to the schedule set out in the agreement.

5. Reconciliation of Payments

Procedure for reconciliation of payments varies depending on how an online store operates – under a Personal Account or a Business Account with an agreement. Personal Account owners receive registers in accordance with the request made during integration.

Business Account owners get a supplementary set of hard-copy documents for financial reporting.
